As we glumly turned to go to our beds, there was a commotion on the back porch. My brother screamed, “It’s out here! It’s out here!! He left it out here!!!!” We rushed to the back porch and there was the most beautiful Red Flyer wagon I ever laid eyes on. It was big. It had red “side-planks.” It even had dual back wheels.

There is one decoration, however, that only I have put up. Two years ago I made a four foot-by-four-foot, five-point star. This star was constructed with two slender pieces of wood and clothes-line wire. All this was put together with duct tape, bread wrappers and a lot of hope that it would stay together. Outlining the star is a single strand of white lights.
